Restaurants are walking distance and it's safe to walk around. The staff are very friendly and go out of their way to help where they can. We can definitely recommend it.

We had an amazing time staying at Budget Tented Village @ Urban Glamping. The staff are very friendly and always eager to share some of the stories and previous experiences with you. We stayed for 9 nights and not once was there any problem. The communal kitchen and braai area make it very easy to meet and make friends with a lot of local and international tourists. We will surely be back soon.

Was my 3rd visit and the last one. There was no hot water in the showers or sink. My wife was very uncomfortable with the staff standing naked in front of open doors to do their makeup in the bathroom in the mornings. There was no respect for fellow guests and they were very arrogant. The same staff members were taking food out of other guests' fridge containers to eat. Thanks but no thanks, I can see where this is going for future guests.
We were only there for one night on our way to Sodwana, but very satisfied! The tents we stayed in were neat and clean with enough warm things. Atmosphere was pleasant. Can definitely recommend others to stay there.
Tents were very comfortable and the site felt like a tropical island. Will definitely stay there again.

Budget Tented Village @ Urban Glamping has a fantastic location on the main street in St. Lucia. It's walking distance from all your restaurants and shops. The common outdoor area is very cozy and ideal for just relaxing. The staff is very helpful even if you have booked tours that are not facilitated by Budget Tented Village @ Urban Glamping.
It makes you feel like you are on a cruise. Love the place.

Suggestions. Heat from tents is bad especially in the day, possibly install some type of tarpaulin along the sides in the day to keep heat out. Look for possible enlargement of bathrooms, just too little in my opinion for the budget side. Generally it was neat, quiet, advantage the pool especially in the heat the pool enjoyed thank you. Henre is an excellent manager, was there every day, made sure everything went smoothly, fixed if there were mistakes, friendly, always had time to say hello when you passed him. Staff are also very friendly and tidy. Was an experience for me, would recommend to people on a budget. I've been bloody hot some days and nights but it's December and St. Lucia. Thank you again for a pleasant holiday experience.
The only issue was parking. We have had a big problem quite a few times. Feel if we stay there as guests there should be parking.
The places were very clean, people were friendly and helpful. The facilities such as kitchen, ablution and swimming pools are clean. There was no noise.
The layout of the facility is very pleasing to the eye, and enjoyable to be in. The kitchen and cooking facilities are great, and the pool and surrounding areas are relaxing.
You feel like you are in the bush and cannot believe that you are actually on St Lucia main road.

From the incredibly friendly and helpful staff to the immaculate facilities, our stay was great. We made use of the backpacker accommodation. We had access to everything one would need for an amazing holiday and more. Despite the lack of air conditioning in the rooms, which do get a bit stuffy at times, it is certainly not a deal breaker, especially considering there are 2 crystal clear pools on the property. The best part of the experience is how communal the living areas are which afford one the opportunity to meet and socialise with interesting people from all over the world. The lodge is also centrally located with many shops and restaurants being within close walking distance.
We had a really nice stay. The facilities are very clean and tidy and the staff are very friendly. Only complaint is that the tents are a bit close to each other.
Some guests were disturbing, making noise, moving up and down. We only managed to sleep at 2am. Even tried to call reception for security to come and assist but the phone was not picked up. We woke up in the morning very exhausted while we were there for rest. Please improve the security system to manage during the night.
Nice place, conveniently located, most enterprising use of space for the toilet-shower cubicles! Good fun.

Monzi's is a very nice place to stay. Pictures are just like on the internet. Staff is very friendly! Got free breakfast every morning (muffin, coffee/tea and an orange). My only complaint would be that it is not as quiet as they promise on the website!

It looks like a fairy tale world from the outside and it was just as pleasant. Completely unique and comfortable at the same time. Will visit the place again, but in winter. I think that it can be very hot in the tents when it is warm outside. I am glad that I took my confirmation with me, because the asked me a larger amount than the amount paid. After I insisted that only owed them the last half of the amount, another person looked at it and confirmed that I only owe that amount.

We could write volumes about our stay experience. It is a beautiful, peaceful place without problems, you don't even realize you are in a town. If you want to get away from everyone and everything and still feel at home, book now, you won't regret it. Definitely value for money.
Monzi Safaris is located close to all shopping centres. Their bathrooms are very clean and private, and their rooms are very comfortable whether it's a tent or a room. You can swim or cook with their accessories at any time and you don't even have to wash the dishes. Great stay.
We were pleasantly surprised by accommodation. That's what you call luxury backpacker accommodation. Clean, tidy, quiet, thank you very much! Recommendation: There could be more cleaning services at peak times in the bathroom please. Bathrooms very clean, but at peak times there may be an extra cleaner to clean showers between uses.
There isn't always parking inside. Sometimes you have to park outside. Everyone is willing to help you. The place is a great holiday destination.
The idea that the owners have with the tents and the detail to make the Backpackers beautiful and interesting is unfortunately lost because there are too many tents on top of each other. We certainly hit it off with a group of very loud guests. They celebrated a birthday there and had no respect for silence after ten o'clock in the evening. Very early the next morning they were up and running again. In the morning there was no water and the bathrooms were dirty from the night before.
We were 4 people with an average age of 65 years old. We really doubted if our elderly people would enjoy it there but it was really a wonderful experience. We slept upstairs in the tents and had to walk down a flight of stairs to the bathrooms, but it was totally okay. There are also chalets and other residential units on the ground floor. It is very, very beautiful and a fantastic concept. It is very neat and there were many overseas visitors - especially young people. Two Dutch ladies said it was the most beautiful backpackers she had ever stayed at. The place is designed in such a way that you mix well with all the people and cook and barbecue together. Everything is very neat, well looked after, pure white bedding and there is everything in the kitchen that people need. Really, it was very, very nice.

Our family felt like we entered paradise when we entered our accommodation for 2 nights at Monzi Backpackers! We were received warmly and taken to our tents which were well appointed with all the necessary facilities on the property. Our teenagers enjoyed it immensely, especially the "vibe" at Monzi's and St Lucia. I want to especially compliment the staff on their friendliness and helpfulness.

I really enjoyed it here as everyone was friendly and there was no noise or extravagance. The servants who work there are also all very friendly and very helpful, even the staff at reception are extremely considerate.
